Disproving Reincarnation

 om:  hi
Sent at 11:49 PM on Thursday
 me:  hello
how are you doing?
om:  Now in the research of renewable energy
 me:  really
 om:  yes
at IIT Delhi
me:  and how is that going for you?
 om:  it is good
 me:  good to hear it
 om:  Thanks
me:  how can I help you?
om:  are you in the research
?
 me:  no sir
I added you randomly on google plus
it is primarily a marketing tool for me
I am a writer
om:  are you in krishna consciousness
?
me:  I don't know what that is, so I am pretty sure the answer is no
tell me about it
om:  do you heard about ISKCON ?
International Society for Krishna COnsciousness
?
 me:  nope
feel free to explain it to me if you have time
me:  yes but tell me in your own words if you do not mind
no sir I am an american
ahh
so it is a sect of hinduism
yes?
om:  it is not the sect of hinduism
it is based on the sanatan dharma
as you see all the hindu people read the Bhagavad Gita
me:  Its core beliefs are based on traditional Hindu scriptures such as the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam and the Bhagavad-gītā,[3] both of which, according to the traditional Hindu view, date back more than 5,000 years
om:  when you read the Bhagavad Gita you could not be able to find the words of hindu
they always talk about the sanatan dharma
me:  let me wiki that real quick
there is no page for sanatan dharma
tell me

me:  I have a question for you. and I do not mean to be rude about it, but perhaps it might sound that way. what if I could prove to you mathematically that reincarnation was not correct?
I assume that reincarnation is part of your faith
is that right?
12:13 AM
no
reincarnation is the part of the law of nature
you can find a lot of evidences of reincarnation

me
12:15 AM
yes but reincarnation of the soul is a mathematical impossibility
everything in our physical reality becomes recycled
I understand this

12:17 AM
as per the concept that is given in th Bhagavad Gita they talk about the science of soul
where do you stay in America

me
12:18 AM
I live in the state of Texas. Define for me please, the concept of "science of the soul" as I have never read Bhagavad Gita
please

12:19 AM
yes

me
12:21 AM
if you do not have time we can continue this later. but I always enjoy interesting conversation. are you too busy to talk right now?

12:21 AM
Now I have to search literature of bio plastic and biogas

me
12:22 AM
I understand
we can continue this later?

My problem with the idea of reincarnation, as it applies to the soul only, is that this planet is constantly gaining more and more human life. To sustain human life, even if it is only the requirements of physical space. This means that either animals and plants have to die or they are not allowed to grow.

This in turn means that we cannot be reincarnated as plant or animal life if there are not enough "host bodies" to accommodate our souls. The more human beings that exist means that the options for reincarnation are limited.

Furthermore lets say that there is a maximum amount of life on this planet. let us throw a random number say, 50 billion souls that become reincarnated as plants, animals or humans... what happens when the human population exceeds 50 billion? what happens when the entire earth is covered in cities and only a small percentage of the earth remains for farmland?

There is a real imbalance of life when it comes to sustaining human life. so many plants and animals and insects and other things are not allowed the space to live or are killed so that we can build. The ratio is ridiculously high. The ratio is becoming bigger and bigger by the day. In my lifetime the human population has increased from 6 billion to somewhere around 7 and 1/2 billion.

Karma is a main idea behind reincarnation. That we become reincarnated based on our deeds of good or evil. Don't you think that there is MORE evil in the world with more human beings? Shouldn't all of these evil people be reincarnated more and more as lowly beasts of the earth? Instead the trend seems to be only that all of our souls are only being reincarnated as human beings. It doesn't make any rational sense.

Is math incorrect or is reincarnation? Am I misunderstanding reincarnation? please describe it to me as it is described in the Bhagavad Gita
Please explain to me how you deal with this mathematical imbalance.

I gave him a week to reply. but I think he would rather avoid conflict. I would rather not. Truth matters more to me than faith.

I will always give him the opportunity to correct me. If he comes back some day. I can only assume by his silence that he has no answer. Pity really, because I have never even bothered to think up any other arguments as to why reincarnation was wrong. I would be at a loss of reason if he would just bother think for a little bit.
